Our History
A Call to Serve the Whole Person
Restore God’s Kingdom was founded in Ireland in 2025 from a conviction that Christian charity must respond to the whole person. Food, shelter, medicine and material security are indispensable—but so too are pastoral accompaniment, the sacraments and the sustaining presence of Christian community.
Our founding vision was therefore to reunite the corporal and spiritual works of mercy: to offer bread to those who hunger while also helping to make present the Bread of Life; to protect human dignity in this world while never losing sight of humanity’s eternal destiny.
From Ireland to an International Mission
From its earliest days, Restore God’s Kingdom began working directly with bishops, priests, religious communities and trusted local partners. These relationships allow assistance to be shaped by people who understand the language, culture and immediate needs of the communities they serve so that your generosity or prayers and alms can be applied in the most effective manner possible.
Through this local-Church-led approach, Restore God’s Kingdom has developed three complementary areas of work:
1. Humanitarian assistance
2. Pastoral care
3. Sacramental support and Mass offerings
Within the above, we ensure that at every point of our mission – be it in our regulatory compliance through to our project work – we advocate for the needs of persecuted and vulnerable Christians.
500 Projects Across Over 20 Countries since 2025
Within its first years, Restore God’s Kingdom supported more than 500 projects and requests, particularly through the provision of Mass offerings, across more than 20 countries.
These figures represent more than institutional growth. Behind every project is a priest sustained in his ministry, a religious community strengthened in its service, a vulnerable family assisted or a Christian community reminded that it has not been forgotten.
Establishing a Trusted Irish Charity
Restore God’s Kingdom is registered with the Charities Regulator in Ireland under RCN 20206807 and incorporated as a company limited by guarantee under CRO 767621.
As the mission has grown, RGK has continued to develop its governance, financial controls, safeguarding procedures and reporting structures. This institutional foundation exists to protect the mission, honour donor intentions and ensure that assistance is delivered responsibly.
The Next Chapter
The history of Restore God’s Kingdom is still being written. Our pious hope is to build an enduring international family of Catholic charities capable of responding quickly, faithfully, responsibly, and effectively wherever Christians face persecution, poverty, displacement or spiritual isolation.
