The Importance of Prayer Groups in the Mission of Restore God’s Kingdom
At Restore God’s Kingdom, we believe prayer is the beating heart of all that we do. Prayer not only strengthens our resolve and deepens our compassion; it unites us in Christ and draws us nearer to His purpose for the suffering, persecuted, and vulnerable Church. As the Lord reminded us,
“Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I with them”
(Matthew 18:20). Through prayer groups dedicated to our mission, we invite all who feel called – whether you are at home, unwell, or unable to contribute financially – to stand with us in bringing comfort, peace, and God’s healing grace to those who need it most.
Prayer groups supporting Restore God’s Kingdom form a community of faithful hearts who lift up our work daily, interceding for the strength and protection of Christians around the world facing hardship. Jesus taught us,
“Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours”
(Mark 11:24). In this spirit, we encourage groups to organize special prayer drives and intentions, uniting in support of specific campaigns or needs, and gathering to discuss and strengthen our mission. Together, prayer groups become places of shared vision and spiritual support, where the mission of Restore God’s Kingdom is not only prayed for but understood, deepened, and made more effective.
We are committed to equipping our prayer groups with resources that reflect our mission and serve as a guide to a rich, inspired prayer life. We provide special prayer materials and reflections to help individuals and groups align their intentions with the work we are carrying out. In times of special need, we will also dedicate specific prayer drives and intentions, inviting your group to lift up these intentions in unity.
As St. Teresa of Avila so beautifully said,
“Prayer is the greatest of all gifts, for it draws down the grace of God upon the soul.”
