At the heart of Restore God’s Kingdom lies a mission not only to provide for the physical needs of Christians facing hardship but to nourish the very soul of the Church through acts of pastoral care. We serve communities where hope is often hidden by hardship and faith is embattled by adversity. In these places, our pastoral work becomes a balm for the weary, a light for the lost, and a bridge that brings Christ’s grace into the lives of those suffering and persecuted. This work is guided by the spiritual works of mercy, a set of practices that bind our mission to the teachings of Christ: to console, to instruct, to forgive, to pray for others, and to bear burdens. Wherever we serve, we strive to apply these works as both our commitment and our calling.

Restore God’s Kingdom fulfills this pastoral vision through tangible support that addresses the spiritual, emotional, and intellectual needs of our brothers and sisters in Christ. Our initiatives in pastoral care include:

Providing catechetical materials such as Bibles, prayer books, and devotionals to help deepen the faith of believers and provide strength through Scripture.
Offering counseling services to those who have been deeply affected by war, persecution, and trauma, helping them find healing and hope amidst suffering.
Organizing spiritual retreats and prayer gatherings for communities in crisis, giving Christians the support and space to renew their faith together.
Offering grief support and memorial services for families who have lost loved ones, showing that the Church stands with them in their sorrow.
Educating and training lay ministers to serve as local leaders and caregivers in areas where priests may be few and resources limited.
Creating and distributing faith formation programs for children and youth, building the next generation of believers and leaders within the persecuted Church.

In each of these actions, we are moved by the spiritual works of mercy: to instruct the ignorant, counsel the doubtful, comfort the sorrowful, bear wrongs patiently, forgive all injuries, and pray for the living and the dead. These aren’t mere guidelines – they are the very essence of what it means to be the hands and heart of Christ. Wherever we work across the world, we bring these practices with us, serving as messengers of His love and advocates for His grace in places where it is most urgently needed.
